We're so excited to dig into Sock Club's March sock of the month club for men!
The Sock Club: PackagingAs you can see, the Sock Club packages their socks in a brown cardboard envelope with black doodles all over the front.
The Sock Club: Back of PackagingWhen you flip the packaging over, you see a whole bunch of text in black. The text explains where Sock Club makes their socks, what materials they're made out of, and a bit about the company.
Sock Club: Company note on white paper to tell the sock origin storyInside of the package is a white piece of paper complete with a note from the company about this month's socks. This month the theme for the socks is centered around the theme of Austin—the birthplace of Sock Club—and it's Southwestern Influence.
Sock Club: Sock Interior PackagingSock Club's socks always come wrapped in brown butcher paper with a red wax seal. The seal is an imprint of the Sock Club logo, a S and a C with a line between them.
Sock Club: Socks Coming Out of Interior PackagingAs per our sock opening tradition, we never tear the butcher paper, but rather shake the socks out from the bottom.
The Sock Club: The Calabera SockThis month's socks are called The Calabera which is the Spanish word for "skull." As mentioned above, this sock was inspired by the Southwestern history and aesthetic that appears in Austin, Texas.
The Sock Club: The Calabera Sock (front)The Calabera sock has a turquoise base with orange details—top trim, heel, and toe.
The Sock Club: The Calabera Sock (back)The design on top of the turquoise base is in four colors—yellow, orange, black, and white. The pattern is a Southwestern geometric and at the very top of the sock in white(right under the hangtag) there is a tiny cow skull.
The Sock Club: The Calabera Sock (toe detail)As far as texture goes these socks are extremely soft. Additionally, they have the perfect amount of stretch which leads us to believe they'll be quite durable.
