We're stocked because we can't wait to open our socks from Venice based sock of the month club, Sock Panda. If you're not familiar with Sock Panda, they offer sock subscriptions for men, sock subscriptions for women, and sock subscriptions for kids (but under their Panda Pals division). Today we're reviewing their men's sock subscription. You can see all their reviews here.
Sock Panda: PackagingSock Panda's packaging is as cute as their namesake. The package is made up of a thick waxy paper in teal blue with a red flap. There is red and yellow bunting at the top as well as a cute little panda in the center wearing red and yellow socks. Above the panda is a red speech bubble that says "Hooray! Your socks are here!" At the bottom of the package it says "one-for-one-subscription."
Sock Panda: Packaging and SocksWe reached into the bag and pulled out a pair of colorful socks. Upon further review we learned that these socks are an picture of above ground and below ground. The toe, heel, and top trim of the sock are all green.
Sock Panda: Men's SocksJust above the toe area of the sock represents the below ground area, and the soil that needs watering. There's even a little watering can and puddle. Above the heel area of the sock we can see potted sun flowers on either side of the sock playing an instrument next to a tree.
Sock Panda: Men's Sock Flower Details
Sock Panda: Men's Sock Flower DetailsSince the tag was covering the individual personalities of the different sunflowers, we gently removed it so that we could see more. This revealed a sunflower playing a guitar and another sunflower playing a colorful drum with two drum sticks. We flipped the socks over and found another sunflower with hearts for eyes singing on a standup microphone and the last sunflower playing the trombone. Talk about diversifying your plants!Quality wise, these socks are extremely vibrant, but not extremely soft. All in all, we think this is a really unique design. These would be the perfect pair of socks to wear if you're into gardening. You could probably get away wearing these to a more corporate office job since the majority of the sock that would show between your pants and shoes is a solid green block.
